However, we do know that the devil loves to deceive and lead people astray, so it stands to reason that his favorite music would be the kind that promotes sin and rebellion. This could include music with lyrics that are lewd or violent, or music that glorifies substance abuse or other risky behaviors. Whatever the case may be, we know that we are to be on our guard against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11) and not to be conformed to the world (Romans 12:2). Instead, we are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2) and to set our minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2).
