I got the missing part of my brain back

So you know how people with anxiety, ADHD, or Autism, have executive dysfunction. One of the more common ones being the inability to fluidly turn a decision into action?

I just got the executive action part of my brain working again.

I am not sure what exactly did it, maybe the meditation, or the improved diet, or the weight loss, or the improved sleep schedule, or a combination of it all, but now I have unlocked all the brain capabilities of the average successful middle class guy.

I am happy about that so just wanted to share it with somebody out there.

Based. ADHD symptoms imo aren't genetic, except maybe an increased likelihood for them to form, and a lot of ADHD is self-induced over a long period of time. The reason it's so hard to get back from is probably because a majority of the symptoms are perpetuated by diet, stress, and sleep dysfunction (just like you mentioned), and all of the above are affected negatively by ADHD and made far more difficult to manage. It's a real pit that you can get yourself trapped in pretty easily if you're a modern human (especially if you're a tiktok zoomer, etc.)

good job  Not sure if the change will be permanent for you but I hope so

ADHD is genetic, sperging out is a choice in 50% of cases?

Thanks!

:marseyshrug: something like that I guess. It seems like there's more evidence for ADHD being partially environmental if not even potentially something that can be caused exclusively environmentally than something like autism etc. Autism has a comorbidity with ADHD and that could be implication that it's genetic but it could also be that autists' limited behavior patterns and pre-existing executive dysfunction (of a different manner) make it more likely for them to develop ADHD symptoms, idk
