Look at the state of my fricking garage. :marseyl:

I've been cleaning all day and made some progress.

I'm going to post when it's finally clean and you're all going to be so proud of me.

Are you a mechanic professionally? My brother in law does body work and is now running his own business out of a big garage he put on his property. The thing that held him back from going independent for many years was not owning the cowtools needed to get all the work done. It looks like you have a lot of shit there already, are you anywhere close to being able to take contracts in there?

Just a hobbiest. I definitely have all of the cowtools, and have done just about every procedure at least once, but my only experience is on my own few cars. I'd want to have experience working in a shop for awhile before trying it myself.

Two things I've considered are going to school for aviation A&P license, or going into a very specific specialty like rebuilding Porsche engines.

There's a guy in the south who is basically the only shop that can properly repair a 1998-2016 Porsche engine - they all have a fatal flaw and porsche sold hundreds of thousands of them. He teaches classes that I want to take and it's something were I'd be willing to move there to work for him.

That porsche repair specialty would be sweet, you'd have business coming out your ears until you retire.
