Must. Not. Fedpost :marseyfedpost:

Fricking Windoes. Imagine having to actively opt-out of advertising on an OS you paid for in the first place.

Frick Microsoft to heck.

>allowing your windows operating system to speak

gotta treat windows like you're an abusive partner. Shut them up, do not give them any say in what goes on, you will UPDATE WHEN I FRICKING TELL YOU TO UPDATE, and what are you r-slurred? don't let it call home, find all channels of communication and cut that shit.

I actually understand the update thing. Everyone just clicks 'later' for about 2 years and then wonder why they get pwned with a virus that got patched 10 updates ago

All my apps break if I let it install the 22H2 update. I haven't figured out why. Fusion, Cura, Krita.... they won't launch. No errors, no logs. The process appears for two seconds then quietly disappears.

Reinstalled Windows numerous times. On an absolute fresh install of 22H2, still won't work.

Once I was about to fedpost because I got everything working on 21H2, went to bed, and when I woke up it was all broken again -- Windows updated to 22H2 overnight.

So now I have 21H2 with an update blocker installed.

this is true, definitely update the OS security, I just don't like opening the computer to an update screen knowing every program I had up is closed and possibly corrupted
