I have had a lifelong struggle with mental illness, and so has my sister, but when I found out she became successful and got a successful husband I was like "well good for her, went further than I thought."

Yeah, people do that kinda thing these days. Social media broke peoples' brains. If you were to float the idea of gender reveals to someone in the 90s they would think you were fricking nuts but now we accept it as normal.

Wanting to know or not know the baby's s*x was an established sitcom premise in the '90s. A gender reveal party is just another baby shower, no one would be too surprised.
