Met a nice old lady on the train today. She talked to me for almost 30 minutes, and gave me a bunch of books on Buddhism for completely free! She seemed genuinely sad that my stop was coming up as well. I'm really glad I've started to take the time to talk to the strangers most of us take for granted in our lives.

Free books are good.
There's a frickton of homeless people where I live and they stand on like the medians in between the lanes on the street to harass people when they stop at red lights.
Last night I gave one of them 60 cents and a Newport and he seemed genuinely happy about it (probably the newport more than the 60 cents).
That was pleasant, if something that simple can help him out a little bit that's cool.
Another time I was in a parking lot and some fat old white b-word came up asking for shit. I gave her some change and she was like 'what that's it?' and tried asking for more shit.
Wanted to kill that b-word.
Anyways, that's just how it goes I guess. Old black dude was happy with what he got. Gluttonous white woman was not, and wanted more.
There's an allegory in there somewhere.
