Because I need a set of headlights for a 2000 Volvo V70 Cross Country and Amazon doesn't take Marseybux.

Buying auto electricals on Amazon is how your engine bay catches on fire. Ask me how I know (and yes I did keep that car for over a year after and end up selling it to a tard who threatened me after lmao)

My Alfa 75 burnt itself to the ground using all factory components.

As for the headlights they're the most recommended/reputable brand. It's just that I get 5% back, reliable free shipping, and they're $40 cheaper on Amazon vs the usual Euro parts sites.

Keep in mind this is a car with a blue book value of $1800 and, being that it's a Canadian car less than 25 years old, I'm not even certain it's here legally. Not trying to throw good money at it, just trying to make it safe and spiff up the cosmetics a bit.

Are they broken or is it faulty electrical stuff?

The reflective coating on the inside has completely deteriorated and faded away so they shoot about a five foot beam. They're halogen reflectors with fluted lenses, so they didn't have much going for them to begin with.

Planning on just replacing them with another set of halogens though as I want to keep it period correct.

I also need a new rear driver's side door, a tailgate latch, an alignment and likely a control arm, some winter tires, and a bunch of other little things that go missing/wrong on a 170k mile, 23 year old car that, while it has been well-maintained, has not been enthusiast maintained.

I want to get it cleaned up and looking as close to showroom fresh as I can before my uncle, who gave it to me, dies.
