Some kids decided putting a trans walkway a block away from my rental was perfect placement.

Normally I wouldn't mind but I'm mid escrow and the buyers are not happy with it. Now I get to either continue renting it or be in escrow purgatory. Trans lives matter but that can be on hold for a few weeks while I close escrow and ditch this property.

I own my house and got stuck with being a landlord. I'm currently just selling the properties outside of one because I don't know tax law enough know if I'll have to pay short term capital gains and CPAs don't know what the reply button is nowadays

Too much Goombling. I know that I have to pay a base 35% on all my US earnings but I did spend quite a bit of time outside of the US and those earnings were extensive. I don't think there's a doctor that could recommend me a CPA.
