(The origin story of her taking him to a therapist consists of her abandoning him within the first year of his life; thus feeling it was necessary to integrate herself back in while introducing a therapist into the mix ((that she doesn't even attend w/ the child she just lets him go solo wtf lol gr8 recovering)) and this is explained by her, herself; to the doctors, as to why he is in therapy in the first place. Lol

Whole time dumb idiot stupid waste is fricking crying and trauma dumping on the nurses about how SHE HAD ADHD WHEN SHE WAS A CHILD TOO AND IT WASNT DIAGNOSED AND IT POTENTIALLY HURT HER DEVELOPMENT INTO ADULTHOOD (read as lack of just any fricking accountability for anything in her life included up to the year of our great Lord and Savior in 2023 soon to be 2024)
Doctors just kinda stare, semi smirking, somewhat confused; say well. Guess that's it.

She was trying to bribe my son with a ben 10 toy to do a fricking clinical trial for children's adhd medicine under the age of 5 while giving me grief for wanting to just take my child to the pediatrician and get their professional view on my sons health before moving forward.
She throws his blanket at me in the hall, tells me to rot in heck. Told her I know she's living through that every day of her life and it brings me joy as I scoop my son up and walk out to the car with him.
I am beyond resenting this woman.

Why are you afraid of blood tests? That's probably just to check if there isn't anything wrong with his levels. If anything that would rule out ADD.
They also aren't going to medicate a 5 year old. It would have to be extreme. 6 years old they might, but any good pediatrician would want behavioral therapy attempted before a drug.

This was a paid clinical trial study that i wasnt informed on. The mother wasnt even aware of them wanting to draw blood on the first visit for the diagnosis; all in all i was not comfortable with subjecting my child to the trauma of blood drawing over a medication that he doesnt even need based on my observations with him at my home.
If he needs medication for it when he is older; sure. I just dont feel like making any of these decisions without talking to my pediatrician first.

I dont know the amount they need but i do know having my daughter needing bloodwork done at a young age had traumatized her pretty bad of doctors visits.
This was when she was around 1 1/2 or 2; the effects were present when she was 5
At the end of the day i rather not be the parent forcing unnecessary bloodwork on their child
