I suppose I don't have any other options since I'd like to experience the full gamut of life. Recently I saw the girl I was seeing cheat on me with another man, all within my own view. I'm not sure what I did to have her do that, at first I told myself we weren't that exclusive but they ended up leaving together while I was sitting alone in the corner of the bar, almost falling asleep. Is there anything I can do to not be so jealous in this type of situation? I could hardly look, let alone confront them. I'm trying to be optimistic about the situation.

Good to hear, I hope it works out for you. Shame about the situation with the woman though, but with an attitude like hers I say don't be jealous but happy that you managed to dodge that. Think about it this way- the fact she showed her ugly side now might have brought you a potent and swift sting as opposed to having this misery drag out for months had it been discovered later in the relationship.
I too have been trying to be more open to life after a newfound desire to live and experience life, and while I am doing better than last year which was a personal low, there's still work to be done. I still feel a strong disconnect with people as a whole- I can't fully understand or empathize or even be honest with anyone, and in the same way I feel like no one will ever fully understand me, which is a shame because I do want to care and to be cared for and all that.
So let's both keep on that grind. WAGMI and all that
