Need advice. The street :marseybigbird: dog in my neighborhood is getting more aggressive over time. How do I train :marseybardfinnsbiggestenjoyer: a street :marseyryu: dog to chill :marseyhawaii: out?

Currently I am trying a make him relax :marseybeachtowel: next to me for half an hour to one hour strat even as things that frustrate him travel :marseysherpa: by and get him calmed down every time he gets growly.

I have already tried aggressiveness but that only makes him more aggressive and act out as well.

Disciplining appears to have him then refocus the pent up aggression somewhere :marseysalitssomewhere: else.

So the only recourse seems to be to teach :marseymoidteach: it to mellow out.

How should :marseynorm: I go about doing this?

Neutering is also on the table. Should :marseynorm: it be done?

Dogs love the taste of antifreeze. Try sharing some and that might win it over.

I won't pretend that the option hasn't come to my mind, but the humans around here appear to care about the dogs and recommending killing :marseymegalodon: them will likely not go over positively, I am hoping to have a conversation with the guy focused on caring for them, to go and get them neutered over time as I once heard :marseyjacksparrow: him mention. The big one is currently too aggressive and I imagine either getting itself or somebody else injured.

multiple neighbors already feeds him. I have a no feeding :marseybreadcrumbing: the dogs in my neighborhood policy. So that any time anyone tries to pin the blame for the dogs on me I can deny having taken complete responsibility for them.

Yes but other people feed them so I doubt :marseyxdoubt: it would :marseymid: work for me. Also people might hold me responsible for the dogs if I fed them. It's already bad enough :marseyitsallsotiresome: with them beginning to get aggressive with the children :marseykermit: now. I had to stop one from possibly attacking or just trying to dominate a teenage child :marseynoyoupedozoom: today.
