You're definitely not in the actual top tier of known drama users but you're also much more known than the regular drama user.

Let me propose four categories of fame: gayops, metashit, normal users, and relics.

Gayops, pranks, trolls, and brigades are our most revered activity. Those who do a lot of off-site activity that can be tied back to us end up famous that way. See: thegrillcast, formerlurker, patriarch.

Then there are users who are always here, always in chat, on Groomercord servers, have memes about them, etc. Anyone who takes this site too seriously will know them. See: ted_simp, soren, sal.

The most mundane form of fame is attained by being very visible. Lots of posts, lots of comments, lots of pings, on the front page a lot, lots of upmarseys, etc. See: carpathianflorist, bwc, kaamrev

And finally, some users are famous because they were famous on the subreddit and enough of us remember it to remember them. See: masterlawlz, pizzashill, trappysaruh

None of these categories are exclusive, most truly famous users are known for many of them. heymoon, for example, hits the first three in spades.

and yeah I do have a couple people added, but I don't think that's what people mean by the accusation (I'm not in any servers, and neither the people I use it to occasionally talk to) I don't think it's that weird after being on here for so long and making so many comments to have a couple e-friends, it's not the same as spending all day in different dramacords :marseyseethe:

I am currently planning to investigate the distribution of the user base on the two most popular platforms. The aim is to find a correlation between rDrama users and the use of rdrama related groomercords. I've randomly subsampled 100 users which will be put into four predefined classes (only rdrama, mostly rdrama but also groomercord, mostly groomercord but also rdrama, only groomercord) and then I'll use the standard approach of averaging over multiple human measurements to accurately define how well known a user is. My hypothesis is that a higher truescore does NOT necessarily lead to a more-known user, but that the active use of rdrama external but still associated groomercords is the main argument for a user's status.
