What's funny is between my previous experiences with Native American culture
growing up around the Lakota tribe
taking high school and college electives involving Lakota Sioux history
taking Indian Law as an entire course in law school for the Indian Law required bar question, taught by the Chief Justice of the Sioux tribal court system
I never once ran across “Two Spirit” through 20+ years of casual, social, general education or literal tribal law. Honestly it's just made up, no living Native American knows it exists but for people seeking nu-enby status
