Interesting point actually. I thought of this and talked to an acquaintance who used to work in marketing in Uber. They told me to keep all the receipts from the hospital, photos of injury, broken goods etc and mail it.
There have been similar cases and I could either sue which would get me a good amount of money (i could get upto $200-500k) or I could just send them all the documentation and as a gesture of not getting sued (for a minor non life threatening injury) they would probably give me Uber Black service free anywhere in any country for probably 5 years or even more.

75%? Usually it's 25-33% which makes it worth it. I got $6500 for a bruise to my elbow and the airbag hitting my face which left some brush burns. I'm wildly speculating because "it depends on the State and
," but you're likely looking at $10k to $50k. If there's a depo, ham it up about being distressed about your scar. ALSO, say the same during your doctor visits. Talk about how much it bothers you. All these records are viewed by both parties in the lawsuit, so it's about building a papertrail that solidifies your claim about emotional distress. It doesn't pay to be stoic and manly. 
Also, insurance companies are much more likely to settle if the case is in small claims court, which usually has an upper limit of financial compensation (like $75,000 or so).
