Yes haha we always do when we get used to their personalities. Fingers crossed we didn't get any accidental boys, although we love roosters, we just prefer keeping only girls these days. Typically my mom names her favorite 2-5 and I name the leftover ones who I train to sit in the yard with me. When i was a tiny girl, my favorite were the black and white chickens, that's why I'm very touched that my mom brought these little things home for my 30th. It's a nostalgia trip for sure :marseyexcited:

I've never raised chickens: how long does that typically take? like 3 months?

They'll go out into the big chcken coop in maybe 3 months, yes I believe that sounds correct. We've raised so many chickens I never thought about the timelines, I just do the work until they're ready to get outside. You caught me off-guard! Haha
