Revel in the chaos, better is a state of mind. Being a menace but being alive is its own worth. For me I think even if this life is suffering and I frick up constantly it's still my tiny time to be alive in the vast universe. And until somebody removes me or my body quits I should try to see / do all I can. We only get one go around
If you got the means to do so, you can get a little bit of gear and go and do some backwoods camping. It may not be living off grid in a cabin, but would certainly be a means to get away from the world for a day or week or whatever every once in a while.
