Momma kitty and her five kittens are home and she is such a loving girl! She's already trying to fight my cat through the door but whatever.
She keeps neglecting one kitten in particular. I fed it manually just in case right when I got home.

What is a pregnant cat like? Does she let you pet her? How does she react when you handle one of her kittens?
I've owned many cats but I have no experience with pregnant cats (or cats who have recently given birth).

Well, this girlie looks to me to either be a two or three year old herself. She was a street cat, so she's a spicy little thing when she has too much energy. The easy solution is obviously just playing with her, and she adores the variety of catnip and jingling toys my boyfriend so kindly donated to my insane cause

She cannot be picked up under the stomach as she is sensitive from nursing so much. But she weighs like three pounds so I've been gently squeezing her shoulders and leading her around while voicing my typical command prompts for all my cats. I'm very proud of the momma and the babies for making the hard trip today but they're sleeping together now
