The two girls have eye infections and are on eye gel 2x per day as well as antibiotics 2x a day. The boys are showing signs of the same infection. I will have to pay $260 for just the two girls to be tested for what the vet said is, worst case, cat herpes -which is not good news...
It was heartbreaking to hear that they possibly have manageable, but not treatable, ailments. However, the vet said that if the girls eyes improved within 24-48 hours since first starting meds, thar was a good sign. Unfortunately I tried to post a too-long home video, but I'm not a paypig.... the babies are getting bigger everyday, I have the charts to prove it! 
Anyhow, please send good energy to the little ones and their absolute superstar of a momma. Maybe a little to me and my bf as well; it's been a long two weeks. However, these cats being fed every two hours is no longer necessary. They're cutting their formula intake by half starting tomorrow (although I'm going to give everyone extra before I go to work shh 
).

I want to say that Boeing went to shit by moving production away from their skilled workforce in the Seattle area. Except they were building stuff in Wichita already in WW2 which is where the frickup happened.
Management found many ways to destroy the company (and possibly the entire fricking country, that's how important this industry is).
(Them moving production lines to South Carolina to have white & black trash (anybody from the South) building airplanes has been one of many complete disasters.)

I agree about the seattle thing! My grandfather worked for Boeing as an inspector and some other stuff. Early in his career he'd been an air traffic controller I think. But he had moved his family to the seattle location to work there for some years befote the changes. Quality went with the old people who really knew their trades well

I'm a bit biased. Possibly my first memory was running around in my underwear playing Star Trek. Later on every week we would go to school and the #1 thing we would immediately talk about was last night's TNG episode. Boys, girls, everyone.
But it's really held up well for me over all these years. The Original Series and The Next Generation about half of the episodes are good and worth watching. And Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan would be easily in my top 10 movies of all time from anywhere in the world even if I didn't know anything about Star Trek. I would suggest that for anyone, even if they don't like sci-fi. Although it's about becoming an old boomer so you might need to age into it.
So anyway for what it's worth, I'm telling you that not everything labeled Star Trek is great but the stuff I mentioned above is timeless and just as relevant now as it was back then. LLAP.

Oh, I remember some of the stranger and sillier episodes/ moments from episodes, trust me everything star trek is accessible for my dad at all times, and we've tried to provide him with as much recording space and at one point, blu-rays I believe. Its one of his soothing shows for after work. I was more into playing outside so I missed out on a lot of tv, but I consider certain star trek to be on par with shows such as The Sopranos. I just couldn't reliably tell you anything about the world-building or go into depth on most characters.

Oh, as far as weight goes, it is going to be such a relief on everyone to need the formula less often, however, feeding every 4 hours is still not insignificant. That with medications for sheila, triana, and rena on top makes for quite some mental strain. But their weights are across the board excellent compared to initial weights. Brock is almost the size of a 4 week old! He's the best little boy you could ask for when it comes to the bottle

We do not know. They wanted to try the standard treatment approach and really just see if it takes first. I am not going to change my feelings or determination whether or not they have the herpes virus, it just complicates some adoption boundaries. The test is $260 for half the litter; I figured to wait to see if all four babies need swabs done before I pay for a test thats probably negative. Why do I believe that? Because Sheila has no indications of having that virus, just perhaps a skin condition that you just buy special shampoo for. It is super common for babies to develop eye infections, however, because they are on antibiotics for respiratory rehabilitation, that is new territory for me. I'm just trying my best to navigate this expensive as heck "good deed." It's just what I was able to, and wanted to do, nothing more, nothing less.

It's certainly painful to drain my savings this quickly, but I would say that I'm shifting around my budget pretty easily for now. My boyfriend is going to pay me a few hundred to cover a bit, he just hasn't had the chance to hit up the bank. Mostly I've just had to purchase my groceries more thoughtfully (considering cost, time the food lasts, etc) and it's not bad. Frankly though, I am taking more stimulants in order to skip meals, although I'm dieting regardless. There is no need to be concerned over anything but their lives. Money will never mean anything compared to a life.
