These babies are too cute! They're very into fighting to the death and momma Sheila needs two regular workouts a day so she's gentle with them when they test her patience. She can get mean! I'm trying to gently teach her to not bite them with full force - best would be not at all - but they're all worked up

I thought about finding a better upload but some using their phone to film the TV and uploading it has a charm of its own.

I feel like Dee sometimes. There are so many street cats in Manila and I'm not acclimated to lots of noise in the middle of the night the way is so I wake up once every week or two to a fight going on outside. On the other hand she doesn't mind my snoring, so I should be grateful for the contributions local and have made in rearing her to be the perfect woman.

I hope you at least don't have someone next door raising fighting peepees. Really is annoying when you can't even have a goddarn conversation because kuya's chickens are too loud.

Across from my moms ranch is a frickhead who abuses animals, sells pot and sometimes meth, and hosts peepee fights in the back of his property like its a frat party but with more blood than usual

Aww your lady must be so special
Since I'm in California, my family has extensively vacationed (in the 2010's, nothing recent) in the port towns of Mexico. I'm working on becoming fluent in Spanish. I've even now written about half of a duel purpose intro to English/ intro to spanish book that I teach ESL out of for the Spanish-speaking residents i serve. The english speakers often just practice conversations or conjugations with me, but the Spanish-speaking residents must be taught every word syllable by syllable.
I appreciate the people. I do not appreciate their public lack of animal control measures and blatant public animsl abuse. The things i saw are frankly why I'll probably never go back, despite it being lovely and lively there.

The single greatest blessing in my life beyond my own family and a second chance recovering from drug/alcohol problems in my youth was meeting such an incredible woman. She's pious, family oriented, intelligent and incredibly gorgeous. When we met she even earned more than me. If this were a less awful website I wish I could brag more about her and post pics of us together. It's tough being an emigrant sometimes but she makes it all worthwhile and gives my daily activities meaning. Only the Blessed Virgin Mary and my mom could compare, no offense to you.
Learning Tagalog has sidetracked me somewhat but long term I want to master Spanish too, because almost all of the historical documents here were written by friars/colonial governors and also because it's a requirement for men to enter the diaconate in the Church to be bilingual. I think it would also be good for my future as a father to raise the kids fluent in 3 (4 if we're including the Bicol dialect) languages.
It's similar here, but to be honest I think that when you consider the financial situation it's much more understandable and perhaps healthier than the way westerners view pets as equal to or in some cases above human life. I love animals, I take care of my pets, but my feelings towards third-worlders have softened with time.

I'm very glad yoou have her ❤️ and of course that couldn't possibly offend me, silly. I highly encourage learning multiple languages. I am decent, conversationally, in Italian, spanish, and japanese. Linguistics is truly fascinating. I also studied latin in elementary and middle school.
All I will say on the matter is that my father is from Macau, so to call places "third world" and try to tie that into the animal neglect/ abuse/ hatred conversation as their hallpass for lack of basic empathy does not logically compute.
Yes, I'm the first to say that my dad used to be disgsted by my mother's huge animal horde when i was young. It is hilarious now because he's the biggest simp for our 3 mini aussies and has totally changed his 'tude. But to harm or willfully neglect any living being is not excusable.
People can and should strive to improve themselves constantly. I understand that cultural backgrounds determine way more than any of us would like to admit; however, what you seem to think is a largely Western "empathy reflex" is something that i believe is more widely shared between humans. But I have been wrong before, and I welcome correction.
