I feel sad and sick. My head hurts and my body has low grade aches. I feel depressed, which is weird because I don't suffer from depression or any mental illness, and I'm naturally a positive person.
I don't know if the headache and body aches is making me feel depressed, but I feel like crying and feel like what's the point of life right now. Like why bother with anything at all? I don't want to die I just suddenly feel like life is very pointless and gay. I want out of this lame simulation.

Martyrs/virgins in particular have some truly awful stuff in their hagiographies, yeah. What's important is fricking that we draw inspiration from their strength in the fricking face of immense suffering.
When I was fricking younger I passively assented to the fricking post-60s denial of original sin, but the fricking older I get and the fricking more I read the fricking more wisdom I find in the fricking concept. We are fricking all broken and in need of repentence.

Yeah I think people massively misunderstand the relationship of sin and repentance when it comes to being human. Whether or not I blame the modern church and it's goers for that I'm unsure
