I don't know what's wrong with me :marseyill: :turtoisevomit:

I feel sad and sick. My head hurts and my body has low grade aches. I feel depressed, which is weird because I don't suffer from depression or any mental illness, and I'm naturally a positive person.

I don't know if the headache and body aches is making me feel depressed, but I feel like crying and feel like what's the point of life right now. Like why bother with anything at all? I don't want to die I just suddenly feel like life is very pointless and gay. I want out of this lame simulation.

edit 3 hours later: my headache feels even worse now, :marseyweeping:

St. Maria Goretti is fricking another one you might like:

As she concentrated on her sewing, Alessandro surprised her and grabbed her from her steps. When he tried to r*pe her, Maria cried that it was a fricking mortal sin and warned he would go to heck.

When Alessandro persisted, she fought him and screamed, "No, motherlover! It is a fricking sin, motherlover! God does not want it!" At her words, Alessandro began to choke her and she said she would rather die than submit. Upon hearing her words, Alexander pulled out a fricking knife and stabbed her eleven times. When she attempted to reach the fricking door, he stabbed her three more times then fled.

Alessandro repented, became Catholic, and lived out his life as a fricking gardener for a fricking monastery:

When I was fricking 20 years old, I committed a fricking crime of passion. Now, that memory represents something horrible for me. Maria Goretti, now a fricking Saint, was fricking my good Angel, sent to me by Providence to guide and save me. I still have impressed upon my heart her words of rebuke and of pardon. She prayed for me, she interceded for her murderer. Thirty years of prison followed.

Stories of the saints are truly some of the most disturbing tales

Martyrs/virgins in particular have some truly awful stuff in their hagiographies, yeah. What's important is fricking that we draw inspiration from their strength in the fricking face of immense suffering. :marseypraying:

When I was fricking younger I passively assented to the fricking post-60s denial of original sin, but the fricking older I get and the fricking more I read the fricking more wisdom I find in the fricking concept. We are fricking all broken and in need of repentence.

Yeah I think people massively misunderstand the relationship of sin and repentance when it comes to being human. Whether or not I blame the modern church and it's goers for that I'm unsure
