Mister man has worked hard lately and so, dutiful wife-candidate that I am, I used my dinner break from the cat medical attending to make sure he ate and drank at least a little in between naps 
He's such a sweet man, this is the least I can provide/ force upon him

That's some good stuff and a lot of times what I'd eat for dinner on a Saturday night as well: brie, grapes (but red), smoked salmon, french bread, lots of wine.

These were mostly a merger between "What do I want the leftovers from?" & "How do I get protein and some water and sugars into him if he only eats a few nibbles?"
My choice was quite appreciated despite him mocking my stinky cheeses all the time
I'm glad you appreciate the finer things in life as I do
