This not example of stability. Argentines have to go to Chile, to buy food and cleaning supplies because it's 50% cheaper. Inflation in Argentina is 278%.

AFAIK the only libertarian government to actually exist could not even hold thirteen states together in the 1780s. All the blabbering since Rand wrote her series of mid novels has just served as cover for Republicans to slash social services while maintaining a huge prison system, surveillance state and global military presence.

Real libertarianism cannot be tried at any large scale because competing in the twenty first century requires big bureaucracy and central authority. If you think an ad hoc nation of live and let live individualists can compete with the likes of post New Deal America or modern China...well I guess anything is technically possible?
