Finals end May 10th and commencement is May 15th.
I got to thinking about this bc U of C is on a quarter system so they've got another month of protests potentially but most schools are wrapping up the academic year around now.

They'll probably just go home, but there's some merit to yet another summer of love.
The past 8 years have seen Democrats use BLM as a cudgel during summer election season (and then they conveniently disappear from cultural relevance for another 4 years), but the recent protests over the Israel-Palestine conflict seems to have beaten them to the punch this year. There have been several stories trying to instigate BLM riots the past couple months, just the media looking to seed outrage in hopes of sparking something, but it doesn't seem to be overtaking the current protests. Its entirely possible that this will continue to spiral as the summer kicks off which would likely be devastating to Democrats this time around.
But they'll probably just go home.
