TLDR France is always the bad guy

The French and Russians amended their alliance with Serbia shortly before WW1 to include mutual wars of aggression, then they collaborated to assassinate the heir to the Austrian empire (imagine if Mexico assassinated Biden after he got elected!) in order to bait Germany into defending them attacking Austria, and then blaming the whole war on them.

France pretended to be a democracy but baited the US into helping them keep Vietnam as a colony, and now the whole world thinks that Vietnam and the US had a war with each other.

France deserved Nazi occupation.

Reported by:

Germany was literally just looking for an excuse to start a war. They sent us an ultimatum that was ridiculously unreasonable and that we had, nevertheless, almost completely accepted, with just one point that we wanted to further debate, and that was enough for them to say how we wanted war. The Russians were not fricking ready to go to war after Japan blasted their bussies a few years prior and the only reason they agreed to fight was because we Serbs were their last true allies in Europe. They basically said that they would support us whatever we decide. The only ones responsible for Germans starting a war against the world and losing are the Germans themselves (as usual).

Like literally just don't assassinate the heir to someone else's state, simple as. That action alone is a declaration of war. Austria didn't need to declare war on Serbia, and they should not have sent an ultimatum.

France and Russia should have let Austria and Serbia fight it out, because honestly, every time Austrians engaged with Serbs, the Austrians always lost.

The result would have been that Austra-Hungary renegotiated their relations with Serbia, they would have maybe granted some lands to them, and it would have been over by Christmas.

But no, Russia and France had to be gay.

Good thing we didn't assassinate anyone. A terrorist organization that everyone hated for being a bunch of socialists did it. Our government even tried to warn Austrians that there might be an assassination attempt on the Archduke, but the message didn't arrive on time.

True, if they didn't get Bulgarians to attack us, they would have never won, because their army was ridiculously inexperienced and ineffective. We blasted their bussies at Drina with an army one-fourth the size of theirs. At least we got the most expensive Serbian language movie out of that deal.

The same dude who plotted to assassinate Alexander I and Queen Draga was plotting to assassinate Franz Josef as easy as 1911. The only reason he didn't follow through was because he found some young idiots in 1914 who were plotting to kill his son. He trained and equipped and transported them to do it.

All the major nations chimped out about the assassination of Alexander and boycotted the handover of power to King Peter, but apparently forgot it happened by 1914.

The guy was nicknamed "Apis" (Bull:marseyblack:). He was a leader of a clandestine organization of officers in the Serbian army called "Black Hand" and was later tried and executed because he was too dangerous and he kept killing people.

All the major nations chimped out about the assassination of Alexander and boycotted the handover of power to King Peter, but apparently forgot it happened by 1914.

Alexander was hated by the people because he married a woman who couldn't have children. He was dead set on ending his own dynasty. His father Milan was hated because he (unconstitutionally) divorced the Romanian princess, who was very much liked by the people. This event actually caused the very first riot in the independent Serbian state, where a dozen people died.

So yeah, people complained, but Peter was actually a pretty decent ruler, so everyone accepted him in the end.

Im not talking about their frick up with belgium.

Im talking how they broke their alliance with russia thinking they would never ally with french.

Or how they made Anglos mad by building massive navy. Thinking they would never ally with french, thenthey didnt even use that navy in war.

Or how they contacted mexico asking them to invade US. And when US conforted germany. They admitied it.

They admitted it twice lol. And yeah the Kaiser fricked up bigly by ignoring Bismarcks advice.

Its amazing how stupid kaiser was. Its testament for german army that they lasted so long.

But even they were arogant as frick. They didnt conduct war at operational level.

Would it been so hard to park that shiny navy off the coast of french before UK enters into war.

Maybe sink troop carrier or two.

But nah. Just ship all those elite colonial troops into french. Line them up. Then we fight.

The Kaiser was bad at political strategy but he had fantastic generals. Their biggest mistake was not paying attention to Russian capabilities and severely underestimating their time to mobilization. It wasn't super effective but Russia has 250,000 specifically trained troops positioned east of Prussia for this event. The rest of Russians mobilization was a mess, but it was still faster than the 900 hours estimated for the Schlieffen-Moltke plan to work.

The Germans should have invested entirely in sea mines and submarines instead of Dreadnoughts, because the mines in the Dardanelles crippled the Brits at Gallipoli.

They didnt want conflicts with indians. Right after revolution US was in Northwest Indian War. At Battle of the Wabash. US army got their asses handed to them.

US had to reorganise whole economy and military to win Northwest Indian War and it lasted 10 years.

British didnt want to deal With stuff like that. Espesily when there was enough land with 13 colonies and canada.

They rather spend their focus on fighting french and pushing into india

Nope. North western indian war was mess until whole goverment was reorganaised.

One reson why whiskey rebelion started was becouse western penyslvaninan were thinking goverment wasnt doing good job at defending them.

Why do you think Hamiltion had to reform whole system.

When orginal idea was not to have any goverment spending and very little tax.

Then comes hamilton and somehow there is debt and everything is taxed. Including whiskey.

You never found that strange? When revolutionary war was said be over some silly tax?

US wasnt prepared to deal with indians. British kinda knew that. US didnt know. And it took them about 20 years to get into position where they could actually start expanding. Something they wanted to do for looooong time.

Ironically most of people behind revoluton were dead allready when expansion kicked off.

More ironically most lucrative expansion for US was when they bought french Louisiana.
