It's so frustrating lol. I feel like this admin hasn't lifted a finger to actually reduce home prices (by encouraging construction of more homes). Now granted, that's mostly a local issue, but the local dems here haven't done that either - in fact they seem to be blocking construction on the grounds that property developers should never be allowed to make money.

They are actively against actually lowering home prices, because that would hurt existing home owners, who generally bought assuming that prices would keep going up forever.
