It's literally all for boomer retirement protection, this admin has to know this. Cater to the demographic that holds the most assets and, ahem, actually fricking votes, and screw the rest. The government will literally let everyone under the age of 30 die if it means they can keep the boomer 401Ks stable.
The only reliable way to get on ahead is to do boomer shit yourself. Buy that house. Invest in that stupid dividend ETF. Finance a jet ski (you'll be getting a tax credit that, for no discernible economic reason, covers jet skis).
I'm buying long term call options on SPY on down days and expect stock prices to melt up for the next decade at least so boomer accounts can keep their 7% government guaranteed stock returns. And I'm not happy that I'm correct.
