Trump has to stay in the NYC area due to the on-going trial. He'd probably hold rallies elsewhere if he could, but he's trying to make the best with what he's got. Bonus points if he ends up embarrassing NYC libs in the process

He had a rally on the beach in Jersey recently and the turnout was YUGE. Coverage of this sort of thing helps build energy and enthusiasm nationally, so why not. If he makes Biden have to talk to black audiences more that's also a bonus given corn pops long tack record of going full r-slur when he tries to relate to the black folx
