Yes for some reason the age for Biden is much more important of an issue for voters than Trump, even though Trump is nearly just as old and clearly mentally not great. Trumps mental decline is just another problem Trump is getting judged less harshly on.

Pretending like they're both exhibiting those symptoms to the same degree is ridiculous as well. Trump is too old to be President, we should have a younger option, but in terms of who's more mentally there it's obvious that Biden is in worse shape.

I'm increasingly of the opinion that the whole “Joe Biden has dementia” narrative isn't actually going to help Trump as much as he seems to think it is. It's not a bad message in the sense that the guy is clearly old, but they can't seem to just take a moderate win on that, so they keep making more and more outlandish claims, and are just outright making stuff up to support the claim. At this point, any outcome at the debate that isn't a complete Trump blowout is going to hurt him, and the constant muddying of the waters and histrionics around dementia is going to wear thin.

Does this make Biden look better? Even in the NYP edit you can see he is giving someone a thumbs up, I don't think they were trying to pretend he was just doing it into thin air.

He still looks like a feeble, disoriented, old man who needs to be wrangled.

Even someone in like their 60s should be able to maintain 2 things in their head at once. He should be able to know that they are setting up for a photo op behind him even when he goes to give the guy folding the parachute a thumbs up. In the video and all others he looks like he is going through life only able to pay attention to whatever is in front of him at that time and nothing else, needing to be reminded that he has to pose for a picture etc. This makes him look pretty disoriented imo.

He loses focus. Wanders off and start to interact with what ever is in front of him.

How do you lose focus when man parasuites in front of you and every other g7 leader is standing next to you.

Small child would know excatly how to act and would focus on man who just dropped out of sky.

You also see how everyone else panics when he start to wander off. They have no idea whats going on. Or know excatly what is happening and try to cover it. They move closer to him so he dosent look like old man standing at side.

Dude cant focus on anything anymore. It is probably bad day for him. Travel. Lack of sleep. Maybe he is eating worse becouse travel. Campaing stuff is hard and require more travel. Then all the whitehouse stuff. Even if he dosent participate in governing. He needs to make aperance constantly and photoshoots and what not.

But still. Man with nuclear button will be knocked down by bad day of travel. Fantastic.
