It should've been peak US military projection. First US-Iraq war: get in, get out to restore prior borders, and collect checks from neighboring states who appreciated the help.
However, bombing Serbia was a bit much. It forced them to end the war, but then the US carves out a "puppet" state (Kosovo) and later gets pissed. when Russia does the same with Georgia and Ukraine.
Still, I'd take that kind of foreign policy over the absolute r-slur shit in the early 2000s. Frick Fukiyama and all the government bureaucrats who love him

i could still go to gamefaqs or other random message boards and call people stragets (and they'd just call me a straget back instead of having a mental breakdown) but there was no twitter or reddit or facebook or tiktok or bling blong or whatever the kids use these days amplifying the extreme r-sluration of the far left/right and making it mainstream.
