I'm convinced it's actually a Harris lead in polling but they are so scared of under counting Trump again they are all herding to 50:50 +-1%. Too many polls are coming out as a near perfect 50:50 coin toss.

Nate silver said he ran some tests and it came out that there is a 99% chance that there is herding going on. I'd say it is more likely they are favoring Kamala then Trump but we'll see.

Maybe, but in the last 2 presidential elections they underestimated Trump's support. So I think it makes sense for them to tweak how they are ding things to favor Trump so they don't get it wrong again. And from what I understand, outside of Nevada (Which was one of the worst states as far as recovering economically from covid) early voting numbers seem to favor Harris a bit. Especially in the rust belt, which is all she really needs to win in terms of swing states.

And there is a weird issue with response bias with old libtards that end up causing polls to natural lean left. They are not intentionally doing it. In other words, i believe the polls that are herding are more aware of the response bias issue and are trying to correct it.

I've seen it but the way he worded it seemed like something that could be easily weaponized against him. He should have just said "Liz Cheney would not be such a war hawk if she had ever had to serve in a combat zone."Didn't stop John McCain but I digress. It was an incredibly preventable gaffe when there were other ways he could have expressed that idea. It is comical to me just how eagerly the press is running with it as even the selected clips of it they play give you enough context to understand what he actually meant. Them going as far as to compare it to a 14 year old talking shit in a vidya lobby shows a level of genuine desperation and seething that I think is just hysterical.
