She had a 90 page plan backed by economists for a working class economy. Trump had ramblings about Haitians eating pets. What fricking else was she supposed to have done?
Literally nothing else she could have done.

Example #737363 of reddit being wrong and r-slurred. Besides, you wouldn't use wealth inequality to measure quality of life. That's only for seething cute twink redditors who work as baristas in their 30s and shit themselves with rage as everyone around them makes more money.
!neolibs, the US is going down the tubes!

Naw I think it's getting much worse out here. I'd say that it's not hard numbers or the GDP getting worse, it's a lot more people falling in "the hole". They get into something that totally destroys their humanity like drugs, skizo politics, debt, gambling, whatever. Human wreckage as a whole is increasing, and the risk of the average person being destroyed is increasing. The average person feels this anxiety and attributes it to the economy, and you can't show them stats that say the economy is doing good, they won't believe you

Realistically nobody really gives a shit about wealth inequality. They care about their own financial situation. Like nobody really cares if Musk is worth $100B or $200B, they care more about whether their income is $50k or $60k.
I think they're just r-slurred imo. I remember talking to a really progressive friend about this and he said that the Walmart CEO made too much money, that the CEO compensation was why they couldn't afford to pay their employees more. So I made him look up the CEO's compensation, look up how many employees Walmart had, and do the math.
Turns out if they paid their CEO $0, each employee would make an extra like $50/yr or something. Just totally inconsequential.

Dude if we forced all of the US billionaires to liquidate their stocks and real estate and then took 100% of their wealth, we could give everyone in America $18K one single time before it collapsed the economy. It would be easy as frick and fix inequality forever.

Most of the real wage gains of the last few years were concentrated among the DoorDashing Sexy Indian dudes who don't even vote, while the lot of normal people has declined during the current administration.
