Those comments. "That family must be miserable because the kids don't get enough individual attention from the parents!"
It's not like they had all eleven children at once. The older ones don't need as much individual attention now they're in their teens. They help raise their siblings (yes, imagine an older girl babysitting some of her younger sisters and brothers, oh the child abuse!)
Also the irony of "you can't give attention to your kid" from the generation that plonks a baby down with an iPad so Mom and Dad don't have to interact with it.
