Imagine the upcoming November fantasy -- the first female president after a long career working her way through the ranks and centers of white male-dominated power. The struggles, the battles, and the sweat and blood.

It's her day. Her victory. Her triumph.

The fricking funniest thing would be for an old white man to ruin it all by merely dying and making that day happen unceremoniously simply because he's dead -- victory by default.

You should vote with your wallet when possible, but it cannot be a moral failing to engage in society's systems of moral failings. An evil person will own something you need like groceries, hardware, energy, medicine, clothing... It is the system's fault that evil people run it, not yours.

Though it is your moral obligation to vote for positive change.

Though there's something to be said in favor of seeking out non-evil sources of the needs of daily living. If convenience is the only factor driving purchasing decisions, then by default evil becomes moral.

I'm honestly less concerned with even that, though I do try to optimize non-evil. As long as more people vote for what is good, I won't demonize them.

Commies when you ask them to actually live according to their own ideology :marseyrevolutiongenocide:

Agreed. Frick nestle, they're evil. That won't stop me from buying Purina cat food. My cats are adamant about it. I don't think feeding my cats makes me evil.

Trump and his supporters, by their words and their actions are rejecting the social contract of the United States. Harris crushed my head between her thighs

I was downright terrified of Kamala Harris showing up at my house in real life, like she was about to walk into Curves Gym armed with glutes, quads, and a squat that could lift ice caps. The fear? She might smother my life out from under me. Imagine—one minute I'm watching her deadlift 8 plates with ease, and the next minute I'm huffing her cooter. Better yet, she could drop some protein farts that no amount of "DYEL?" could deflect.

WASHINGTON (TNND) — The left-leaning British Labour Party is sending nearly 100 members to U.S. battleground states to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the presidential election.

Sofia Patel, head of operations for the Labour Party, shared the plans via LinkedIn Wednesday. She claimed current and former party staff will target key swing states like North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

"I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina - we will sort your housing," Patel offered in the post.

Patel also noted she plans to arrive in the U.S. two weeks prior to the election and stay in Washington, D.C., for a few days afterward.

Patel's profile shows she previously spent time in the Hillary Clinton campaign from October to November of 2016. She included the description "travelled to the US to campaign for Clinton in the presidential election."

Reacting to Patel's post was Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., who suggested via X it was "yet another reason to vote for President Trump."

Other members of the Labour Party appear to be invested in the outcome of the November election. The party's Chief Operating Officer John Lehal attended the August Democratic National Convention in Chicago, according to several posts on his LinkedIn and X accounts.

Party strategists for the U.K.'s new Prime Minister Keir Starmer have been advising the Harris campaign, according to the Washington Post. Starmer, who also leveraged his background as a former prosecutor, marked a major victory for the Labour Party in the country's July election.

The Harris campaign appears to be mirroring much of Starmer's language in its slogans and advertisements. The Labour Party attacked conservatives with slogans like "stop the chaos" and "turn the page" while Harris has used language like "we're not going back" and "it's time to turn the page."

Neither the Harris campaign, the Labour Party nor the Democratic National Convention responded to requests for comment sent via email by The National News Desk Thursday.

Harris has recently recruited Democratic superstars to campaign for her, such as former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Each are visiting swing states with less than one month until the U.S. elects its next president.

!nooticers what do you think they were talking about

A clip of President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden having a tense conversation at Ethel Kennedy's funeral has sparked a slew of theories on social media.

The video of the very animated interaction went viral on Wednesday during the service for the 96-year-old mataricah of the Kennedy family.

Obama appears to say 'no' and 'not good' while shaking his head in the conversation at the at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Cathedral at Washington, DC.

Bill Clinton's comments calling the widow of Robert Kennedy's late widow the 'cat's meow' raised eyebrows among viewers.

No audio was captured except for the blaring church organ, but social media users were immediately curious about the nature of their conversation.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291191934523354.webp

Biden turned and spoke to Obama as the former president crossed his arms and shook his head while speaking back at Biden and emphasizing his point with hand gestures.

At one point, Obama even tried to turn away from Biden, prompting Biden to reach out and touch his arm.

Biden and Obama were joined at the funeral by former President Bill Clinton, who sat beside them.

The funeral is the first time Obama and Biden have met since the current president abandoned his reelection campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

The conversation appears to have been interrupted by Clinton who looked over at them and gestured toward the front of the cathedral.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1729119193544888.webp

One user on X.com said she reached out to some of her deaf coworkers on Facebook to see if she could get information about what they were saying.

'Obama says 'No' then shakes his head and says 'Not good,'' she wrote. 'Hopefully they are talking about Kamala's campaign LOL.'

Another user shared a similar observation on X.com.

'I couldn't make out what Biden uttered to Obama, but the beginning of the reply from Obama was, 'Nope, nope ... (he nods his head, no, and then says) it's gone,' she wrote. 'The look on Obamas face is ominous, and Biden's look is one of shock.'

Obama endorsed Kamala Harris after Biden dropped out of the race and was last week on the campaign trail.

He stirred controversy for accusing black male voters who don't support Harris of sexism and demanded they got on board with the Democrats.

Ethel Kennedy was the widow of former U.S. attorney general and U.S. senator Robert, who was assassinated while seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in 1968.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291191936392193.webp

She never remarried and went on to raise her 11 children, enduring a host of other family tragedies along the way, including separate plane crashes that killed her parents, brother and nephew as well as the untimely deaths of several of her children, grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She and her husband were devastated by the assassination of his brother, President John F. Kennedy, in Dallas in 1963.

Biden, a fellow Irish Catholic who has leaned on his faith amid his own losses, including the death of his son Beau, said the Democratic family matriarch was there for him at his time of tragedy.

He said her husband had been one of his heroes.

'Ethel was a hero in her own right,' Biden said.

'She was a spitfire,' Obama said. 'As serious as Ethel was about righting wrongs, she never seemed to take herself too seriously.'

Kamala :marseykamala: at long last, seems to be losing momentum. After the burst of energy the Dems got from Biden dropping out :marseybidengenocide: is dissipating, and now she's hovering precariously over Clinton's PV range, where Trump narrowly won by a c*nt's hair :marseytiny4:. Why does Harris seem to be losing so much energy? It's simple - she's running a terrible campaign.

It's a recent thing that's best seen with the Cheney endorsement. Peepee Cheney's :marseyhatecrime: endorsement is useless. He left the White House with 13% approval, even neo-conservatives likely don't like the guy. The way you handle his endorsement is by making a tweet along the lines of "Despite our numerous differences, I thank former Vice-President Peepee Cheney for his endorsement :)" and then you never mention this shit again. Instead, she's leaned into it! Her campaign social media has posted "bragging" about the endorsement from Republicans, her excellent slogan "We're Not Going Back!" :t is just used for campaign events and merch instead of being the key principle, and she pledged on TV when asked what she would do different from Biden to appoint a Republican to her cabinet.

This is just bafflingly r-slurred. In liklihood, this is a response to the NYT poll saying nearly half the voter think she's too liberal :marseysoycrytremble:

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172777702267.webp

But the thing is - she was winning before that! She was correcting to fix something that worked, and she's slipping for it. These equivocations have back fired pretty immensely - as can be seen with her very recent pandering to black voters, a group that should the absolute bedrock of the Democratic party. :dasrite:

I FRICKING LOVE BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!!!! :marseycuck:

This is made worse with how Michigan is going. Michigan has the highest number of Muslims in America, and the narrow victory margins in 2016 and 2020 make it a place where every single vote counts. So what do the Dems do? They run ads attack Jill Stein. This is a fricking idiotic, Stein is an absolute who not worth addressing at all and all this ad has done is boost her profile, but I guess that's the kind of campaign we're running Harrisheads. :marseyawardretard:

And on a small note, I'm fairly sure I've found a Republican PAC that does nothing but run "pro-Harris" ads in Michigan that talk about how much she loves Israel. :marseysaluteisrael:

https://www.futurecoalitionpac.com

:marseylaughpoundfist: it's barely a step above "HARRIS MARRIED A JEWISH CHAD" it's awesome

It's not all roses for Trump :marseytrump: of course. From all accounts, he's been pretty badly traumatised by the assassination attempts :marseyschizowave:, and it's handicapped his ability to do campaign events. He remains less personally popular than Harris, much poorer and tied to the hip to J.D Vance, a total flop running mate. The fundamentals are against Trump, but I don't doubt Harris' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of defeat. Here's my current (rough) estimate of the map:

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172785205207.webp

Since entering the race, Kamala has not been behind Trump in PA at any point, even if it's been fairly narrow. Honestly? It's a total cointoss. Just have Walz go door to door in PA and have him do nothing else, just try to secure the state. If Harris loses the race, it may actually be because she chose Walz over Shapiro - a funny thing to consider.

State of Congress

I need to preface this by saying that these races are not likely to be won by the challengers. I'm simply noting that they will be close.

TRVTHNVKE :marseynukegoggles: Texas, Ted Cruz (R) v Collin Allred (D)

Incumbent: Ted Cruz (R)

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172787504869.webp

"I'm not serving in office because I desperately needed 99 new friends in the U.S. Senate."

In my first senate post, I really agonised over adding Texas to the close race list. Texas has been a Republican stronghold since the 90s, voting Republican presidentially every election since 1980. Despite this, it's a bit of a paper tiger for the Republicans. In 2020, Trump won Texas by 8% - not a horrible result by any margin, but even John McCain and Mitt Romney won Texas in the double digit region. This doesn't seem like a reason to fear for Terrible Ted, but let's look at his last election...

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172788772523.webp

There are a few reasons why Cruz did so poorly - it was a Blue year, as most midterms were, Beto was genuinely a rising star back in 2018 - but the key reason is simple; Cruz fricking sucks and no one likes him. It's a fairly simple comparison; Abbot kicks butt pretty effectively

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172789496763.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/1729117279022716.webp

(Ironic because Abbot doesn't have legs). Blexas, that glorious Democratic dream, won't happen soon. But when it happens, and it's a when, the fall of Ted Cruz will mark the beginnning.

As far as Cruz's opponent Collin Allred is; he's pretty good. Knows when to triangulate, knows when to stick to his gun, and his campaign has been built all around attacking Ted Cruz for everything from his role in the Jan 6 riots to causing the football team to lose. Ted Cruz has about $10 million more on him, so I lean a Cruz victory. But not a good victory - he'll have a lot to be ashamed of.

Nebraska, Deb Fischer (R) v Dan Osborn (I)

Incumbent: Deb Fischer (R)

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172790977793.webp

"Keep the faith, keep the faith, keep working."

Unlike Texas, I didn't have Nebraska down as anything close to a maybe. In 2018, Fischer beat her opponent by nearly 30%. Trump won Nebraska by nearly 60% in 2020! It's one of the most red of the red states. It wasn't worth noting.

Until I saw this ad, which had gone on TV.

Dan Osborn has ran about as perfect a campaign as you can. It has been nothing less than breath-taking - the plan was for Osborn to run Independent but be endorsed by the Democrats, only on the day of the nomination Osborn backstabbed them and announced he wouldn't accept the support of either party. The Democrats, reeling, couldn't find a candidate and have had to just sit out of the election, with most of the Democrats still voting Osborn without Osborn having the stink of being a Democrat candidate.

Everything about Osborn's campaign has been about trying to imply he's the real conservative, while he nonetheless supports key Democratic policies, like hiking the minimum wage or supporting union rights - fitting for a former union leader.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172793895535.webp

Even in the subtle things, like his campaign materials all being red, are built around quietly assuring Nebraska that he's a Republican at heart. And it's fricking working. To remind you, Fischer has not faced any kind of challenge in her runs for Senate

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1729117279676786.webp https://i.rdrama.net/images/17291172797359235.webp

But Dan Osborne has been polled, at his very worst, at 8% behind her. In his very best? He's beating her by 6%. Fischer's internal polls (with a declared margin of error of 4%) have had her with 48% to Osborn's 42%, while Osborn's internal polls have him winning 48% to Fischer's 46%, with a margin of error of 4.8%. Best of all - Fischer only has $2 million more then Osborn.

God I want him to pull through. It feels so incredible, the secret to winning these deep red states is to be an economic populist and social moderate - be a union man. I'm calling the race for a narrow Fischer win, because if I thought Osborn would win and he didn't, I would cry.

Conclusion

Boy American politics remain an r-slured shitshow. Things are going down to the wire all over the place - I still lean a Harris victory with a Republican senate, godbless gridlock, but really it all remains to play for.

His ear was never wounded. I've seen a slowed-down video of the incident. He banged his head against the holster of the secret service agent standing next to him as he ducked down after the first gunshot, and that's where the bleeding came from. The bandage he wore over his ear was pure theatre; pretending it had been clipped by the bullet :marseysnoo:
