If by "unity, joy, getting things done, excitement, and a better future" he means "abortion and vasectomy bus, 'hottie' party handing out STI and pregnancy tests (presumably so you can go get that medical abortion from the bus) and the giant inflatable IUD" well gosh, why wouldn't anyone want to be part of all that unless they were weird and out of touch?
