The brazen smuggling of this journo's smug opinion or vitriol via some rando's opinion, in order to feign objectivity, really needs a name

maybe journojudgments, maybe opinion by proxy, idk. but take the classic example

some people have said... some people have compared you to...

and often these people don't exist, aren't notable, or are completely irrelevant

e.g. this video is an entire display of that

it belongs in articles not interviews, afterward when you write an article about the interview you do it, so it can't really be challenged.
