Tbh I'm still seething at it as a rightoid. Although that may be because I've been looking at polling and whatnot. But it looks to be an incredibly close race where a few thousand people in one of the swing states will likely decide the election. And this r-slurred internet celebrity somehow gets a gig performing at a giant highly publicized Trump rally right before the election and bombs while making a bunch of unfunny racist jokes targeting minority groups Republicans were making inroads with. How can he be so r-slurred? And what idiot with 0 brainpower invited him and signed off on his set?
I hate having to be on the same team as these complete r-slurs.

Maybe but it looks like he was actually pretty huge with a specific niche crowd already. Outside of his little YouTube podcast sphere he will always be known as the racist Trump rally speaker regardless of the outcome of the election. I think that will be toxic for sponsors and venues and he can say goodbye to any mainstream ambitions. I think the loss of opportunities will hurt him a lot more than the additional fame.

All the Puerto Ricans in America I've met have been in the middle class range - lower and upper, and stats wise Puerto Ricans who live in the states and can vote are actually pretty split red and blue. Dems have claimed Puerto Rico forever, but there are a lot of pseudo middle class conservative Latinx there, enough that there's conjecture it could be red under the right conditions if it had statehood. It's always seemed like a weak choice for Republicans/Trump to pick a fight with.
