My roommate:marseybangfast: is a political science major :marseygrouns: and hearing her zoom calls is giving me AIDS :marseyill:

She just keeps em on speaker so I can hear them through the wall. They're literally doing a round table thing where they have to list every privilege they have. She's paying for this? How is this related to political systems? I thought polisci was like learning laws and how the government works. :marseycry: Why are they counting their blessings for credit?

I have the right kind of autism where I actually enjoy the humanities and find them really interesting but 1. the universities that accepted me and 2. the fact that I would have to do this shit instead of writing essays on the history of fascism made me decide against majoring them.

I'm doing a History minor and it's p fun since I just take history classes I'm into and I'm not forced to take the bullshit ones. I'd recommend it if you want more history in your life.

I'm debating taking either some humanities minor (for law school) or computer science/cybersecurity minor (for tech bucks) in case med school falls through.

Mm. I'd say just try and get a few cybersecurity certifications on the side. You don't really need a minor for that as much.

I was a stem major but I have always liked the social sciences type of humanities classes.

I am also a :marseyboomer: and got lucky that I was in college pre-2014 so they were a lot more laid back then too.
