Well back in the sixties both parties were committed to Keynesian economics. Eisenhower and Nixon were far to the left of Obama and Biden in terms of working with unions and funding welfare. They still basically believed in the New Deal.
Nowadays both parties are committed to neoliberal economics. Neoliberal economics were first associated with Reaganism and Thatcherism.
Obama and Biden are living in Reagan's America whether they admit it or not.

When a man has s*x with a beautiful woman, he probably feels like he is in heaven. But the world is not supposed to be heaven. For some humans to actually be able to feel such heights of heavenly pleasure is selfish and hedonistic.
