...also, for any !masterchef folks out here (or !goyslopenjoyers on top of that, if it counts), have you ever had canned sardines before? And how often? Tomato sauce? Oil? Pure water? And do you just snack on them, or do you perhaps top them on salads, or substitute for anchovies?

My family doesn't really eat canned sardines (or any sort of canned seafood outside of tuna in general - we like ours more fresh :carpfans:)...but seeing that I got some moolah, this post got me feeling the need to get sum :marseyplaying2:

I'm more of a herring neighbor, and for small oily fish it's smoked sprats over deens

I like all types of canned sardine. Smoked are my fav, but spicy are a close second. I put them in ramen usually or make fish cakes out of them

The ones in water suck, I usually just get the ones in oil but some of the ones in sauces are alright too. I mostly just eat them straight out of the can, usually with a bit of hot sauce. I get the ones with the skin and bones but the skinless ones are good for sandwiches too. I put sardines, mustard, and onion on rye bread and it's good. I've had sardine Italian pasta before which was decent but I would rather eat the sardines separate and make a different pasta. You should also try a can of anchovies sometime, they are really salty but are actually good on pizza(I usually run them under water for half a second just to get a little bit of the excess salt off).

I was thinking when I saw that emoji... off topic but what do mermaids eat? They must eat fish. To mate they probably lay eggs and have a guy jerk off on them. I have adhd btw.
