I don't know where I read it b4, but you can just call it a reality show and roll with it. I think that's the case for survivor, where the results are rigged but it's ok since it technically isn't a quiz show under the eyes of the FCC.

Heck, most Americans don't even have a chance to be in one of his games since he only recruits for them from within driving distance of his studio.
