Reddit is like 50/50 on defending her versus "my heckin food tampering" which is pretty funny to see.

I tried it a couple times and it was such a horrible experience, particularly considering the exorbitant cost. Why would I pay 3x the cost to wait 2 hours for some unemployable to bring me my food?

I used Doordash for a pickup order once because I had received a gift card, and even the restaurant staff treated that with hostility and suspicion compared to the normally pleasant customer experience.

Doordash actually offers bounties to drivers the longer it goes unclaimed. The app will tip drivers for you. Not to mention the app (and this b-word) expects you to tip BEFORE getting the food, meaning the driver has no actual incentive to be quick, they already got the tip.

Not to mention Doordash subtracts at least a portion of the tip from the money theyd pay the driver anyways, so youre at least partially tipping Doordash the business
