My washing machine has been making loud noises during fast spin cycles but it's still worked great for the past 6 months. I don't want to deal with getting it replaced

Is my place going to blow up?

It sounds like it's just off balance. Check to see if the feet on it are adjustable and get it level; the noise should stop once the basket isn't banging up against the case.

Ok, so this might sound weird af, but do you often forget to empty your pockets? Change can get in and basically make it off balance. Just had a repair man out a month back to look at mine and he showed me how to take care of it if it happens again..

That's actually very possible, is there a way to clean out the outside of the drum?

If you load it evenly it helps alot too. Try not to do huge comforters but if you do definitely do it as a solo item and spend extra time making sure its even in there

re: downmarseys

You came at me. I was very sincere about what I wrote, and you made a snide comment. I know this is the Internet, and I know people like you are happy to make drive-by-snarks, and hit the downmarsey button when someone makes you look silly, but next time you get the temptation to show everyone how clever you think you are, remember this:

You're not as smart, not as clever, not as funny as you think you are, and there are people like me that will shut you down. Act like an adult, or unplug the keyboard you're hiding behind.
