All you guys were like noooo Russia will hold the land it claimed in this war, at this point it seems unable to keep peace even in the land it claimed a decade ago. Ukrainian attacks have reached as far as Crimea now where they managed to bomb some military structures. At this rate the only thing stopping Ukrainians from getting into Russia proper in another six months will be the nukes.
This is probably going to break the country and its spirit completely if they lose the war against Ukraine entirely and even lose Crimea in the process.

Oh, honestly, I track progress of both sides by occassionally gawking at those silly territory maps. There's been so much misinformation and nonsense that I've lowered my expectations on how well media can be honest about this.

The most surprising things have been Russia actually invading Ukraine and their taking so long to win. Their irrationality was underestimated, and their strength was greatly overestimated by Western talking heads in the intelligence community. So, I've also shoved them deeper into my nonsense bin.
