All you guys were like noooo Russia will hold the land it claimed in this war, at this point it seems unable to keep peace even in the land it claimed a decade ago. Ukrainian attacks have reached as far as Crimea now where they managed to bomb some military structures. At this rate the only thing stopping Ukrainians from getting into Russia proper in another six months will be the nukes.
This is probably going to break the country and its spirit completely if they lose the war against Ukraine entirely and even lose Crimea in the process.

Most likely yeah. My personal theory is that the west won't get any parts of Russia, but Russia will still split, China will become the new center of the post soviet east. It will be less like the breakdown post USSR and a bit more stable division of the country into two to three parts.

They have been 3 months away from that collapse for 2 years now. I think far more fascinating is how much the value of Tencent and Alibaba has dropped since the CCP turned on them. China has a habit of breaking down its own industries if they get too wealthy thus limiting their own growth. That might come to bite them in the butt because they are still running on the concept of useful industries and useless industries but the truth is that once you get past the base industrial age 90% of your growth would be via these so called abstract, technical, and useless industries being formed.
