Found the original thread they're less pro-porn than I'd assumed based on that having 700 updoots.

Your comment was a wild read. You are literally creating so many problems. Your male partner watches porn in the bathroom at work….??? :marseywtf2: That's literally an addition and that's awful. Porn is awful to women. What a sad comment

My relationship is healthy and my partner treats me with an immense amount of love and respect. We all have different experiences: what works for one doesn't work for another, and a thing someone is comfortable with is a trigger for someone else.

Your response makes a whole lot of assumptions and value judgments. There is porn that is awful to women. There is also porn that is uplifting and empowering to women :marseyblm:

My partner watches porn at work, yet he's also the hardest working person at his job, :marseysurejan: is a great father to his kids, :marseysurejan: and has a lot of friends :marseysurejan: and family who love him.

Nuance is key. Sweeping generalizations like "this is sad" and "porn is bad" could make people whose experiences are different from yours feel ashamed, and that's not helpful to anyone. I could say that I think your take on porn is sad too, but I won't because I don't know the context of your life, just like you don't know mine.

No, look, it's generally not acceptable to masturbate in the bathroom at work. :marseyshapiro: If you can't go to workday w/o porn, you're probably addicted.

1. You sound very judgmental for someone who's looking to go into social work. Be careful so you don't cause harm to people. :marseynails:

2. Please don't call yourself a hooker if you aren't a s*x worker :marseypearlclutch:. That word is considered to be a slur by many of us.
