Soys unironically don't even understand the term antihero outside of Marvel anymore. They can't help but apply their own morality in making the determination regardless of how the work frames the character.

Except Tony also stacks mad paper, has an entire posse behind him and spends every night fricking sexy mentally distraught russian foids.

All those losers have in common with Tony are the hairline, the depression and the cardio.

Its a character in a book some authors ideal of what a person should be yet still it is a vindictive loser.

Its like horror films. Every horror film made with a shitty "left wing perspective" with an incoherent message is inherently right wing propganda as it reinforces the narrative that shitlibs are r-slurred

>consumed by guilt

Is he even? He kills chris, shags his side-piece and has an epiphany while high as a kite.

I don't think he's ever shown remorse, he feels down because he has a b-word of a wife and is surrounded by people who'd backstab him the first chance they smell blood, no real friends of any kind besides Artie.

I wrote a big long comment breaking down all the times he's racked by guilt and how it comes up in his therapy sessions. Including video clips. And then there was a power cut.

That serves me right for trying to effortpost.

So I'll just condense it down to one example: after he kills Kitty (the character) he hallucinates seeing him a few times, dreams about him, and also beats the shit out of someone for reminding him about Kitty (with the big billy bass toy) because Kitty is associated with fish throughout the whole show (he's the voice of a dead fish in one of Tony's dreams and he's dumped in the ocean).
