academic research is making me a femcel : redscarepod

The research they do at this lab seems sorta groundbreaking in terms of debunking mainstream evo-psych and biological constructs of s*x and gender norms. (just as an example of an interesting study a colleague of my prof is conducting, having to do with notion of men being “visual creatures”, studying physiological arousal responses to different visual stimuli. using visuals of heterosexual s*x, homosexual s*x, and s*x between other species. results showing males responding to heterosexual s*x only, with women responding to all 3 visuals. potential hypothesis of not only women being visual, but being even more visually freaky than their male counterparts, getting aroused by anything including monkey s*x lol)
