Same shit that happened with rock or rap in the past, adopt the aesthetics and some musical influence into mainstream.
The industry has noticed a few country (or "country") artists hitting it big so the pop culture vultures have been swarming around for a while. I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner, back when Tay or even Hannah Montana were the shit, or Old Town Road.

Country was super popular in the 90s, but I just was never a country music enthusiast. I just listen to whatever songs I like and don't even understand the big deal about Beyonce's song tbh. It's cute.
