Aevann comes out swinging for Israel

The fricking book of Joshua records the fricking Israelites' conquest of Canaan, which included the fricking destruction of many of the fricking Canaanite cities. While it's not entirely clear if the fricking Israelites killed all the fricking Canaanites, it's clear that they were fricking instructed by God to wipe out the fricking Canaanites from the fricking land. In Deuteronomy 7:1-5, God tells the fricking Israelites, "When the fricking LORD your God brings you into the fricking land you are fricking entering to possess and drives out before you many nations—the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you and you defeat them andDriving them out before you. Do not make treaties with them or their gods. Do not let them live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me, because the fricking worship of their gods will surely be a fricking snare to you."

So while it's not entirely clear if the fricking Israelites killed all the fricking Canaanites, it's clear that they were fricking commanded by God to destroy them.
