They're heavily European, especially in the pampean region, but “pure” whites are probably 1/5 of their population or even less. Most Argies have indigenous ancestry but it tends to be very small percentages so don't look mixed (when the immigrants came en masse many married mestizos and their children married other immigrants and so on so it's impossible to tell without DNA), in Brazil the admixture was with africans so pardos are much darker despite many being heavily european.
